DAY 50

Monday, 8/18/69

Took boys to Seattle Center, formerly the World’s Fair.

Took elevator up the Space Needle. Fast ride and grand view of all mountains, bays, harbors, and trees of Seattle. Not as small or as pretty as Vancouver.

Took boys to the Science Center. Saw some great films. Did lots of walking and picked up Debbie at work at the Arboretum by 4:00 p.m. We met Aaron and Howard took us all for Chinese meal. I felt very strained. No place for boys to run around. Howard and me at tight ends. After got boys to sleep in trailer. Aaron showed us some of his films as this is his major. He also has done a lot of batik and made some beautiful lamps covered with the material. Bed late.
