A 2 month vacation for Nina, Howard, Michael, Benjamin and Daniel Barsky (Marea not yet born)... towing an Airstream Trailer, eastward across the United States, north into Canada, then westward all the way to the west coast of Canada, then south down the US western coast back to Los Angeles. June 30, to September 3, 1969. 64 days, 12,220 miles.

What can I say..
It was truly a wonderful trip !!.. This blog would not have been possible without Nina's diary.. detailing every day's activities

Even through traveling all those miles in those close quarters in the Travelall, and the close
sleeping in th
e Airstream, we all got along really well.



All of us that took this "Big Trip" still talk about different highlights.. There were so many great experiences.. but I think we all agree that the Columbia Icefields, and the snowmobile trip across the Athabasca Glacier is about at the top of our list...
